so im using quickpwn and the first step works when i connect my ipod and click the blue next arrow.
but then i do not see a picture of an ipod at all which means i cant see the green arrow also.
i tried loading the ipsw file in but nothing happens and i cannot
go any further to the next step.
does anyone kno the problem ?

Quickpwn isn't currently compatible with the 2G iPod Touch. If you are on windows try Quickfreedom
maybe azsianwun was trying this tutorial which seems to work for lots of people. I tryed helping a friend of mine with a 2g ipod touch (i have 16 gig 3g iphone) but I ran into the same thing. The quickpwn provided is a modified one that looks as it is working for a lot of people

I guess he is specifically trying to jailbreak a 2.2 2g ipod touch.
Same thing with green arrow and ipod picture missing for me as well. (vista home premium sp1 32bit)
quickfreedom is only available for 2.2.1, and not for 2.2 (as far as i've read). You are aware of the fact that there are people who are trying to jailbreak 2.2 so they can extract their .plists for various data and then update to 2.2.1 and jailbreak, due to (maybe) syncing somewhere else and not wanting to loose data, such as my friend whoom i'm trying to help, right?
