iOS4 Multitasking does not work
Yesterday I jailbroke my Ipod Touch 2G using redsn0w. Everything worked perfectly except iBooks did not show up in my bookshelf and multitasking did not seem to work.
Today I used the newest version of redsn0w and that fixed my iBook problem. Thanks for a quick solution. However, multitasking still does not seem to work.
When I double click the Home button, the screen rises but no app icons are displayed.
I looked for the N82AP.plist file which was suggested by many on the web but it does not exist on my system. I do have an N72AP.plist file which does contain a line that says multitasking=true but I'm not sure that is the right file.
Any help would be appreciated. Frankely I'd probably shut multitasking off and use Backgrounder but i'd like to see what iOS4 multitasking is.

I have solved my own problem.
In Winterboard, there is a SummerBoard Mode option. I set that to OFF. Then I was able to see the apps in the multitasking task switcher. I then used the Optimize Themes button to optimize my themes. I was then able to turn SummerBoard Mode ON and still see the task switching icons.
