Hardware Failure or Totally Bricked?
Ok...... so i jailbroke my ipod touch 2g 32gb. Don't bust my balls but i used finalsn0w and everything went fine. Apparently this is an untethered jailbreak. Like a dummy i went to use the change bootloader app. After i did so the ipod ran fine until i powered it down and went to power it back o except the ipod does not power back on. Just a black screen. My mac nor does any computer recognize it. Ive tried putting it in DFU mode in which there is no response. I have tried boot helper and i have also tried to get my mac to recognize it while running finalsn0w. Nothing i try will even get the ipod touch to turn on. Not even plugging it into the outlet on the wall. can someone please help? did i brick my ipod or is this a possible hardware failure?

I would try to put it in DFU mode and see if a tethered jailbreak software can recognize it, otherwise... take it to the apple store and try bullshitting about what happened (ie. I left my ipod on my bed and went to work and it died. Now it wont turn on anymore). Make up a story like that and if you can be convincing and annoying enough, they'll probably give you a new one.
