error 1611/14 - can't update and now restore doesn't complete

hey
i own an ipod touch second gen., it was jailbroken at the 4.1 and then i tried to update to 4.2.1 ... what happened is that: an error happened while it was updating, so i had to take the ipod out of the cable.. when i conected it again, there was only the option restore... i tried restoring, but it does not complete or come the error 1611 or 14.... i already tried unstalling and installing again the itunes, checked for updates at windows, switched through the usb's at my notebook... what should i do? please i need help

Have you tried DFU mode?

Disconnecting the cable during restore is one of the few ways you can permanently brick your iPod
