Beta O'Clock

Today at exactly 2 minutes past Beta O’Clock we are releasing a beta version of redsn0w. The release hopes to simplify the jailbreaking of your iPod touch 2G.

redsn0w is currently in beta as it relies on the user running it from the command line, but this new redsn0w functionality is being added into our GUI applications.

If you are not fully confident with using the command line, then hold off for those simpler tools that will be released sometime soon.

UPDATE

The redsn0w.com"]redsn0w[/URL] site is now displaying the correct links, the error with the Windows package has been corrected and the torrent file has been updated. Windows users should download the torrent again to ensure that you have the correct version.

i have no idea how to jailbreak my ipt2g
and i dont wanna mess it up

It worked perfectly on Mac. I followed a few simple on-screen instructions with my iPod and before I knew it I was installing packages with Cydia.

To get the "installer" on redsn0w what u need 2 do is intall it from Cydia, search for "All Sources" and install that, then search for "installer" and simply install it and you got it
