Exclamation applo logo appears way to early

    Hello,

I cant get into dfu mode. The Apple logo apears after i hold the power and home button for 1 second. Thats way to early. If i look to tooturials on youtube, the logo wouldn't appear for 10 seconds (holding power+home button down). If I go further with the procedure I always end up in recovery mode.

So, why does the apple logo appear after 1 second, and how can I solve this. Because now, I cant enter DFU Mode.

    Greetings

PS: sorry for my bad english

You haven't explained your starting point. What state was the phone in before you held home+power button?
    It should be:

Connected to power via the 30pin USB cable (either official apple wall charger or via USB to your computer)
Phone powered off (hold down power until slide to power off appears, then slide and wait till the phone powers off)

See http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/54082.htm for guides that work.

If you are stuck in a boot loop or don't start with the phone connected to power then the procedure might not work for you.

    I'm sorry.

his is what i have done over 292928 times now.

Power of my ipod touch. Hold down power button and sleep button for 10 seconds. And after the 10 second release sleep butoon and keep holdong the home button.

But that freakin apple logo appears after 1 second

So I can't enter dfu mode.

I have tried many other ways. For example
Alternate Method: Going Into DFU Mode Without Button Pushing: (on windows) Easier than timing the buttons just right!

1.) First download the required archive Download DFU.zip from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way

2.) Extract the archive to the root of your hard drive, should be C:/DFU/

3.) Connect your iPhone and ignore iTunes

    4.) Goto Start – run

    5.) Next type in “c:/dfu/dfu iBSS.m68ap.RELEASE.dfu”

6.) Wait for iPhone to show a “white” screen

7.) Now you may proceed to downgrade!

**also these files are found in ibrickr’s directory except for the .dfu file**

    And many others.

Are there any other ways to jailbreak my ipod.

    Or am I just DOOMED

This part is normal. The logo appears and then you keep on holding both buttons after 2-3 seconds the logo will disappear again and the screen will go black. You need to hold the buttons for about 6-7 seconds after the screen goes black.

Those instructions work (I just tested them before posting)
Does the device detect power via USB? It WILL NOT enter DFU if it's running only on battery.

I shut my Ipod Down. Then I hold the power and the sleep button. After 2-3 seconds the apple logo dissapears, I keep holding the those two buttons. The apple logo appears again, 1 second after it dissappears. Then after 7 seconds after the logo dissapeared, i get to recovery mode.

    What did i do wrong

As I said earlier apple logo appearing within 1-2 secs of power on is normal:

Connect 30 pin dock cable to USB power (should buzz/change to charging icon in status bar)
Hold down power until slide to power off appears.
    Slide to power off
Wait until the spinning circle disappears and screen is totally black
    Hold Power
Apple logo appears within 1-2 seconds
Hold down home button while keeping power held down.
After a few seconds screen goes black.
keep holding both buttons for about 6 seconds (if the apple logo appears again, you have held the buttons too long)
Release power but keep home held down for at least 10 seconds (screen stays black)
You are in DFU mode and can release the home button.

If the apple logo appears a second time (it will always appear once right after you first press power button), or if the screen is not black at the end, then your timing is incorrect.
