Hi-new to the list and was hoping for some assistance. Am having repeated 3194 update errors trying to update from iOS 4.3.5 to iOS 5. Problem started about a month back when I tried to downgrade from 4.3.5 to 4.3 with the intent of an untethered jailbreak. That initial error was a 1638 (unable to find apple server). I tried the usual suggestion at that time to add (or subtract) an IP address and gs.apple.com server, but nothing worked, and every subsequent upgrade attempt failed with a 3194 error.

Upgraded to iTunes to 10.5.0.142 before trying iOS 5 update

Here are the current details:

Windows x64
Windows 7 Ultimate
iTunes 10.5.0.142
iOS 4.3.5
