QuickPwn 2.2 Destroyed iPod Touch
Hi. I have a 1G 8GB 2.2 iPod Touch. I used QuickPwn to Jailbreak it. Everything was fine, It jailbroke it. It told me to wait for the iPod to reboot. My iPod is only showing the Apple Logo. It's not rebooting at all. It will show the Apple Boot Logo until the battery dies. I will then recharge it and it will do the same thing. The Home, Power, and Touch screen is un-responsive. iTunes just quits responding when I connect.
I have a Mac and a PC. I jailbroked it on a Mac and both my Mac and PC iTunes app will not respond when I connect the device. All I want is a little help, my iPod is ruined and I want to know if there is any way to fix it.
Thank you very much.

Have you tried holding the home and sleep buttons down until reboot? Did you unplug the ipod when it said not to?

hold the home and power buttons for about 25-30 seconds...(look at a watch)
after it reboots let go off the power button keep holding the home button ...(this should end up in recovery mode)
if this does not work, try this:
when the battery drains out completely, connect your pod to the charger and keep holding the home button while it turns on..
good luck..
iphone 2g at 3.0 using unofficial sim
changed commboard at 1.1.4

In my experience with my iPhone and iTouch over the past 2 years.I have been in some pretty seedy spot where I thought it was completely done for.Like running code Lines when it starts up ONLY (Dec 07)and it took me three days to fix,but thats a very common problem to get(or at least common to me)
Just hold down the pwr and home buttons like they said above. It'll pick up eventually.

I have a similar problem.
I installed winpwn 2.0 on my PC and tried jailbroking my 8gb first generation ipod. It was going through the motion of jailbreaking and then it just blacked out. Now I can't turn on the itouch. I tried holding down the home and power buttons down for more than 30 secs but nothing seems to be working. Itunes won't recognize the itouch either to try to restore it.
The only thing I have not tried is waiting for the battery to die and try restoring then.
Is there anything else I can try in the meantime?
Much help is appreciated!

Try put the iTouch in DFU mode.

Happen with me..Already back when the latest firmware was 2.2.1 . When you had to manually put it in DFU Mode.
Trust me it's ON , just hold the power Button.
Or Connect to iTunes and see what happens.
