what update do we have to pay for?
they are charging old ipod useres for the new apps on the touch like mail......iphone already had it.....the update for the phone and the ipod touch are very different.......ipohone update didnt have any new apps
I complained on apple website ipodtouch feedback.

I think is not fair to charge 20$, however in Europe would be 20 euros so is even worst.
That's not all. Basic iPod functionality like lyrics, which is NOT part of the 'extra' apps are disabled until you install de $20 upgrade.
Somthing must be happening, because some forums and comments in blogs report that apple has removed the option to update.

i think if enough amount of people complains and complains become public! than you know what will happen like last time did with iphone after 2 months...
apple is getting more and more annoying in its marketing everyday... thinking that they are best in design so they have right to charge u anytg they like... it wont be long that there will be other companies with same type of devices around 1/3 if not 1/2 of the price of apple's...
I don't think that is fair that I had to pay for Leopard and MS Office 2008. I don't think its fair that I have to pay for food and housing, those are a basic human right.
