Let iTunes restore the iPod and it should download an IPSW iPod1,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw

You must have legitimately purchased the OS 3.1 upgrade on this device (unlike the iPhones, each major upgrade costs $$ for the iPod Touch). Questions related to bypassing this requirement are not welcome here.

i download complete ipod software with itune after complete the ipod software in downloads
its give me error 9 on when its restoring now the touch on dfu mode
i confused that how to solve it

%APPDATA%\Apple Computer\iTunes - look for iPod Updater Logs or iPhone Updater Logs

Grab the latest one and upload it to pastebin.com then link to that here. Might help diagnose the problem

Did you not understand what I said? Let me politely repeat it, no support for piracy on this forum. Buy the update or stay with the last free version of OS for the 1st gen iPod touch (iPod Touch OS 1.1.5)
