hi i have an updated 2g ipod touch i am trying to do greenpois0n but i have a problem with the dfu mode it won't work when i turn it off and press the power and home button th elogo comes immediatly can someone please give me a link to a software to force dfu with instructions or tell me an easier way then the original which is power\home for ten sec etc thanks and please help
Is the device plugged into power? You cannot enter DFU mode unless the device is connected to power.Quote:

If you hold both buttons the apple logo should first come up and then as you continue to hold both buttons the screen should go black
Once the screen is black, count to 5 then let go of the sleep button.
i am really srry to bother u but th eproblem is it never turns black the logo comes up then the computer beeps two times and then it just turns on no alert from itunes or anything please help thanks
Then you likely have a communications problem between your computer and iDevice. Either it isn't really detecting power or the dock connector is damaged.Quote:
