Bricking your ipod touch means breaking it, not physically, but functionally. It would be useless.

OK I have an nice 2g ipod touch 8gb brick. Apparently, the cord was removed prior to a completing a jailbreak. Now the screen is dark, the pc will not recognize the device on usb port, and trying to restore gets me no where.
I should go out and buy a lottery ticket tonight, I must be the 1 in a million actual bricks!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
