hey im having trouble with my Itouch..

I put a password on it and my friends were playing around on it and now when i turn it on it says "Ipod Disabled. Please Connect to Itunes"... so i plug it into my computer and when itunes is open it says "Cannot connect to Ipod because it is password protected, please input password on ipod"

so my question is: how can i input my password on my itouch when it only says "ipod disabled connect to computer" ? it gives me no option to type my pass

help would be appericiated.. thanks
