    Default Password issue

So my daughter shows up with here new Ipod touch I gave her for xmas and tells me one of the guys at school entered a password on it by mistake. Obviously none can turn it on anymore since we don't have the password. Any way this can be restored?

On the nano 1g (only other iPod I've had) I remembered hooking it up to iTunes would unlock it, and from there you should be able to restore it to its default settings (erases all music, videos, etc..).

Thanks. Ended up just doing a restore but now have another issue. This touch was previously jailbroken and upgraded to 1.1.2. Now, I went through all the procedures and every thing works as except the last little bit when jailbreaking the 1.1.2 version. It goes through all the steps and says it's successful and all I need to do is wait for it to restart a few times and I should be up and running. No dice, goes into recovery mode and is stuck there. Anybody got some kinda solution to this? I am using a Mac and the jailbreak 1.1.2 Jar file to jailbreak.

PS. Works fine in 1.1.1 mode and jailbreaks no problem.
