Hi Guys,

I spilled water on ipod touch 3g. It started fine but without back light and touch screen doesn't work, also when I connect it to the PC it comes up with a message " Itunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode ......" and after restore it comes up with the same message over and over. Will I be able to fix it ever and what parts I will need to replace to bring it back to life or it is not even possible. Any suggestion/help will be highly appreciated. Thank you

You can carry it to the apple store. But dont make up something and tell them that the touch screen stopped working, they will know.

I took it but told them what happen and its not in warranty anymore. Which parts you think I will need to replace to get it working. I can see the apple logo on the screen when I restore it but other then that it is blank and in restore mode loop. Touch didn't work when It came back to life one or tweice yesterday. I took it a part but still can't fingure out where to start. Thank you for any suggestions
