Jailbreak 1.1.2 but there is no 1.1.2 to update with^^
i have a big problem:
I know how to jailbreak my ipod i had before a jailbroken ipod touch 1.1.2 but there was something broken and so i had to downl´grade it to 1.1.1 and do that jailbreaking again.
I have the installer and oktoprep but now i cant go further.
When i cklick update my ipod it is Version 1.1.3 but i want to have 1.1.2.
Where can i get the old software for the ipod??
aND Iis itunes 7.5 reacquired to do this or can i do this with 7.6 and when i need 7.5 where can i download it.
SO waht i need is: !) Version 1.1.2 for ipod touch...where??
(sorry for my english, i'am from germany)
So i have an iPod Touch, Jailbreaked with the installer at 1.1.3. I've hacked the Springboard, but there are no Apps. I also cannot find any aplications (Map, Notes, etc) in the installer anymore. Before doing the Jailbreak i've uninstalled all aplications, because i heard, that there are some problems with old Apps. So can you help me, to get this Apps.
I don't know if you solved your problem yet, but here's something elase to keep in mind. Go get the touch firmware wherever you want from the internets and keep a copy for yourself. I'll be doing this with all of them. This way you can always restore to whatever version(s) you have on hand for whatever reason may come up.
I was told to use iTunes 7.4 to restore my touch to 1.1.2 after iTunes 7.6 came out b/c when I tried to restore in 7.6 it wouldn't let me do anything but "Restore AND UPGRADE" which I do not want b/c I'm waiting to see if I want the February SDK apps, or jailbroken 3rd party apps. All I wanted was a restore back to 1.1.2. When I tried iTunes 7.4, I was still given the "Restore and Upgrade" option
Then I tried shift+click on restore (cmd+click on Mac) and it asks you to browse for the firmware that you want. Since I had 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, I just browsed to where I had it and voila.
Another thing - shift+click is the same way that you can change which iTunes library you want iTunes to look to.
