    Default Iphone Passcode

    Hi,

I have been given an Iphone which I think is an Iphone 3GS and it has a pass code so I cannot use the Iphone

I've just jail breaked the iphone with quick pwn, and the passcode is still there.

Is there anyway to remove the passcode?

Use tiny umbrella to identify the phone model iOS version and baseband properly.

If quickpwn actually worked it isn't a 3GS

I worry that both of you have mis-matched kernel and other os/nor files as a result of using Quickpwn against an unsupported iOS version.

Quickpwn is only designed for iOS 2.x redsn0w replaced Quickpwn for iOS 3.0 and higher.

Both tools patch the OS that your iPhone currently runs.

Because they only patch and replace just enough files to achieve the jailbreak there is a risk of user error if they use the wrong version of the tool or the wrong ipsw.

This is why I recommend that you identify your current iOS version first.
