Keeping things as short as possible, please list the features or programs you would want to be able to run on the touch were it hacked. I'll start:

-iPhone programs (gmaps, notes, proper calendar, sms via email, etc)
-enable external bluetooth dongle
-skype (obviously proprietary so any voip really, skype is just the most common)
-Rss feed reader
-iphone safari browser signature (so pages think it's an iphone and will load that gui if there is one (i'm looking at you google calendar))
-Games
-divx/xvid avi codec support


What else would you want?

IRC client. (could pass on)

im for msn/yahoo
iphone apps

I'd look forward to all of the above, of course, as well as some springboard modding ie. Adding a background for the home screen, adding and moving buttons, adding themes and new button icons, etc.

How are you going to use VOIP on an ipod touch? It has no speakers and no mic... This is why I chose the iphone over the touch, iphone has more potential..

i wish there was a way to edit the calander, to write down my homework for school, im using the contacts trick right now.
It would be cool to use a template so i could just write my work down every day, and i didnt have to type it everyday

i will find a way, what would be really cool is a flash plugin for the internet so we could go to tons of new sites.
