[Help] touch stuck on iTunes logo
Hi all,
I bought an 8 GB iPod Touch this last Monday. I updated it to 1.1.4 and today I tried to jailbreak it with iLiberty+ for Windows. I chose the "Downgrade Bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9FB" "Installer" and "YouTube Fix" payloads, and hit the "Go For It" button.
However, during the jailbreaking process, I saw some text on my iPod Touch that said something like "wrong bootloader version, aborting", but it continued with the process until iLiberty+ rebooted it, at which point it is now stuck with a screen with the USB cable at the bottom with an arrow pointing from it to the iTunes logo.
When iTunes is opened, it says that "iTunes could not connect to the iPod because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter the passcode on the iPod before it can be used with iTunes."
I did set a passcode on the iPod before I jailbroke it. Is this what is causing my problems?
Also, in iLiberty+, I cannot access recovery mode or DFU mode. I can restart it all I want, but at this point its about all my poor iPod Touch can do.
Thanks for all help!
EDIT: oops, just saw on youtube that you can restore your ipod touch by entering recovery mode (by pressing and holding the home button as you plug it in with iTunes open.). I got iTunes to ask me about restoring it, but I was wondering If I had to first enter DFU mode. If so, what next?

Does that mean that I first must enter DFU mode? Or can I just restore it like you would regularly?
