Now you dont even need to pay the $9.99 for 2.0
just keep a look out on the irc, someone just upgraded their ipod to 2.0 without paying the fees.

Yes it is possible to upgrade to 2.0 without the jan upgrade, ive done that, and the cool thing is that when you upgrade to 2.0 it cames with all the jan update stuff:hack:
