Default Can you install app in touch without logging on to WI/FI?

Is this possible?.. I got touch as a gift from a friend but can't really customize it as there is no decent Wi/Fi location in my area. i've searched high and low but haven't found any thread for this.. kindly point if i'm wrong..

    thanks.

I have the installer from ZiPhone but whenever i try to install a package, it connects to source.

sorry, i'm as fresh as a nO0b gets..
