About LinkBacksIs there a way to back up all the changed settings, installed apps, calender details and such on the iPod for when apple release the update and we all have to start all over again?

Your best bet would probably be to use FTP and simply copy the files across to your machine. Though you may well miss some preference and library files doing it manually.
