Quick question. HOw does the new firmware affect an already jailbroken ipod touch?

Does it remove all the apps i installed? does it keep me from installing new apps?

i've looked around on google and can't find any info on my situation. All the other sites talk about is how to jailbreak a 1.1.2 firmware ipod/phone

I looked around and I didn't find any good and definitive answer. Now we're in two, walking in the darkness!

Updating to 1.1.2 will remove all 3rd party apps, but it will install installer so you can just reinstall them.

If someone else can confirm this i'll update to 1.1.2 thanks

I can confirm that 1.1.2 works more stable on my Touch and I am glad to have installed it. All 3d party apps are lost but can be re-installed in a matter of few minutes so no actual problem there... Go for it mate!!!

noob question, but how was the 1.1.2 jailbreak done? Similar to the iphone style?

If the iTouch is 1.1.2, restore to 1.1.1
jailbreak it with jailbreakme.com
install oktoprep
update it to 1.1.2
run jailbreak 1.1.2.
