Video recording, MMS and voice control in iPhone 2g?

Can this apps be ported from the 3gs to the 3g and 2g ? Since theres no jailbreak for 3gs I dont expect it soon, but do you think it will be possible to have the new camera app even if it records at 15 fps. Also, I dont think Voice control have technical barriers to be used in the 2g. The MMS might be a carrier thing but maybe possible...

I believe Stereo Bluetooth is not possible im right?

A2DP is not possible at the moment on 2G. However, I do not rule out a *possibility* of A2DP being back ported to first-gen iPhones.

I'd be pumped if A2DP was ported over to the iPhone 2G

It is a fact that all 3 iphones are perfectly capable of running all those features!
Im guessing all these features are in fact just regular iPhone Apps, just like Safari or Weather is, that simply are not included in 2G \ 3G Firmware bundles.

This is supported by a fact that the SDK (API) for all iPhones including 3G-S is the same. Its not like 3G-S is running some misterious new system (even though Apple surely wants us simpletons to think so.)

This would mean that those apps might actually be added to 2G\3G quite easily.

So it might only depend if somebody experienced enough will take interest in doing the 'porting'.

PS. At least SMS, Video recording and I believe also Video editing all are available for iPhone for, like, a year now via jailbreak and Installer\Cydia.

Voice Control was originally developed on the iPhone 2G so if it really uses those new instructions, it's just to force it off of the earlier phones.

i think out of voice, video, stero bluetooth. the last one is most likely to happen on 2G.

the first 2 are very hardware dependent, voice need fast CPU while video need fast CPU and good camera.

MMS already works on 2G, got my working
