Im trying to unlock and jailbreak my iPhone 3G 3.1.2

Jailbreak: used blackra1n and it jailbreaks it successfully.
Unlock: used blackSnow but it gives No Service or No signal bars. reseted the Network settings and disabled 3G. But still no service/no signal bars.

So now im trying to go to 2.2.1
After 10 minutes of installing and processing, itunes gives me this error:
An unknown error occured(1015).


any solution?

The error you receive is because you have not put your iPhone into DFU mode which is required to downgrade the iPhone OS.

Even once you manage this, you will find that you likely need to downgrade iTunes (and it's supporting drivers) to version 8.1.1 or lower.

Additionally, although you can downgrade the iPhone OS. You generally can't downgrade baseband.

What baseband did you have at 3.1.2? Probably 05.11.07.

Baseband 05.11.07 can only be unlocked by blacksn0w and really only works with OS 3.1.x and OS 3.0.x

You can try fuzzyband to downgrade the baseband, but your chances of your 3G supporting it are slim.

I have the same problem, i use blackrain to jailbreak a 3G 3.1.2(7D11) but i cant get wi-fi (haven´t activated it yet)

what can i do to fix this?
