just need to change APN to epc.tmobile.com

I have a 2g iphone and updated to 3.0
on my 2g on 2.1 i installed tzones hack, and put wap.voicestream.com for the APN
and had the tzones 5.99 plan which basically lets me surf the net and have a full data plan

now that i'm on 3.0 i've lost that ability
i look on cydia, search for tzones but there is no tzones hack available for download

can anyone share some light on this
how do i get tzones back on 3.0?
i have a valid tzones account.

i've tried the APN changer thing from unlockit.co.nz but still no luck.

any ideas?

I know this is all over the place but I keep reading different things from different sources. Can someone please explain to me how to get the tzones hack. I have an iPhone 3g with 3.0 firmware. It is jailbroken and unlocked carrying service with t-mobile. Currently I am registered under the unlimited messaging and unlimited web plan for $34.99. I am also using the APN address internet2.voicestream.com to get connected to the internet. What do I need to do to get the tzones hack? Any info will help.

Restore again, but without the tzones hack (unnecessary). Set phone to "new phone" and afterwards set APN to epc.tmobile.com, then go to voicestream.com. Viola!

does this work with push notifications (if not hacktivated - im aware hacktivated is not working with push). i havent seen a straight answer yet. im looking to switch to a prepaid tmobile w/ tzones. it would basically function more as a mobile internet and little less as a phone. would what im trying to do work?

same problem here. i only see vpn on network settings.

30 mins later....go to: settings - general - network - cellular data network and change apn to epc.tmobile.com
if you dont have cellular data network option, download APN editing from cydia. Reboot iphone and go to above settings.
