Thanks, good to know. It's really the Notes I want to preserve, but a small price to pay for a good upgrade. There are 3rd party apps around that might do the job.

WHat would be really cool is if we could figure out a way to over clock our CPUs. on the 2G and 3G.
Another thing I noticed.
I no longer see an option to turn 3G on or off.
Did I do something wrong of is the normal with ultra snow.
You don't see the option to switch 3G? Are you sure you didn't accidentally restore with iPhone 2G software? That would probably make things a little weird.
