SwirlyMMS Not working on firmware 3.0

Hopefully I'm not repeating anyone else on here but I have an iphone 2G unlocked and I just upgraded to firmware 3.0 and SwirlyMMS is not working! Does anyone know how to get SwirlyMMS working? I already am dyin without it and its only been 3 hours. lol

Sorry If I ask a stupid question, but why would you want to continue using swirlyMMS, when Apple introduced an MMS application as a standard with iphone OS 3.0 ?

Does SwirlyMMS perform functions not included in OS3.0 ?

Because Apple kindly dicked over all the people that shelled out 500-600 for an original iPhone by not including MMS in the OS3.0 update. It's what they call "incentive to upgrade"

I'm hoping somehow someway the DevTeam can activate it and we get MMS in the Apple messaging app. Although I'm doubtful.

Are you saying the standard MMS function in OS 3.0 doesn't work with 2G iphones ?

I installed SwirlyMMS 1.2.15 correctly on 3.0 2G and it's working. I can't make a photo stright from this application cuz SM crash. And notification about new MMS isn't working but i can send and recive MMS.

I went on to dig a little further.

1 - The MMS feature in OS3.0 doesn't work on 2G phones !
2 - Swirlyspace AG (swirlyMMS editor) has announced they will shortly release an update to swirlyMMS to work flawlessly on OS 3.0. Version 2.02 doesn't install on OS 3.0 !
3 - They also announced they will stop supporting v.1.xxx of swirlyMMS and only update and support v.2.xx It means any original supporter of swirlyMMS on iphone will have to pay an additional 6 US$ in order to upgrade to V2.xx

Conclusions:
1 - Original iphone buyers where screwed by APPLE with OS 3.0
2 - Original SwirlyMMS supporters are also being screwed by Swirlyspace AG
3 - Hopefuly some crack coder in the dev; team will enable MMS for first gen (2G) iphone owners !

where did you find version 1.2.15? on cydia I just can see 1.3.2-1 and it wont let me install
