recently my itunes updated from 8.2 to 9.1 (when no one was home. Hmmm!)
i was able to get itunes back to 8.2 without any problem but since the update my ifunbox says apple mobile device drivers not installed. i then updated to 9.1 , got the newest ifunbox, installed the cydia fix, put the itunesmobiledevice.dll in a folder with ifunbox and put the ifunbox exe in the folder with the dll, all of which made no difference. my 3G has fw 3.1 and i used blackra1n to break it, and i have windows xp.
i also am unable to connect to my phone with winscp.

any suggestions would be appreciated

well it took me 4 day to figure out that McaFee was the culprit, it had updated to a new version and had restricted ifunbox and winscp.
hope this will help some one else
