    After upgrading 3G iphone to 3.0 only one ringtone will work. Help

    Open SSH and custom your own. The stock tone suck anyways. I deleted all except the alarm one and the stock one that you can't delete.

    You may have better luck if you don't upgrade & instead you restore with the 3.0 firmware

    • Find old ringtones out
      The old ringtones may still stay in iPhone directory: /Library/Ringtones or /var/root/Media/iTunes_Control/Ringtone


    • Copy ringtone back to PC


    • Use iTunes to sync to iPhone


    • You may try Bigasoft iPhone Ringtone Maker
      The ringtone maker software can make custom iPhone ringtone from personal music/movie collection, and transfer the new created ringtone to iPhone via USB cable automatically.
