Push Notifications in a JB 2G iPhone

Today AIM with push notifications went live and I was testing the Push Notifications but I can't make it work! Anyone having this problem?
It's jailbreak an issue for the push notification service????

This seems to be and issue with not just hactivated phones. But I might be wrong.

I keep getting "connect to iTunes to use Push notifications" and even though I have connected I still get the message and I don't believe my Beejives IM app is getting any PUSH data.

I just hope we get a QuickPwn update soon, so all of these activation problems go away, specially now that PUSH for IM apps is out.

Hello

The same for me, I'm not able to receive any push notifications with AIM in my iPhone 2G jailbroken.
I live in spain, my carrier is Simyo.
I use push mail with an Exchange account for a long time and it works very well.
I have tested AIM with a friend that has an iPhone 3G (movistar) and he is able to receive the push notifications using only gprs (3G off and wifi off)
So, what's the problem ?

My carrier?
iPhone 2G?
jailbreak process?
...?

Any help?

Now i found a way to use push on hacktivated iPhone 2G
Note that you need to have a approved SIM for a few minutes
