Push Notification
I'm on AT&T US and my push notifications don't seem to be working at all.. aren't they supposed to work for e-mail now? and IM+ claims they work too, but no luck.. any advise or people with the same problem?

Does your E-Mail provider support Push e.g. do you have a Mobile Me account or an Exchange Server Account? That would be the only way to get Push notifications.
As far as I know as of now no Push notifications from IM+ 3. The only differnce while you quit the app and use another one like the phone you dont get disconnected from the service (like chat) you were just connected and can continue as soon as you start IM+ again.

AP News used to be one of the test-pushers for the developers, the other one is AIM.
Here is a list of apps that support push now and are available in the app store:

you have to download an app that has push notifications then in settings it adds a new option of Notifications and you can decide to turn them on or off for the app.

I just downloaded AP Mobile and opened it once, then went to settings to look for the Push features, but they don't appear.
What makes it even stranger is that I downloaded Tap Tap Revenge and they appear in the Push settings.

I noticed that too, but it appears that AP supports push messages for US only. My region was set to Europe and there was no AP menu in push notification settings, but as soon as I changed the region to US it appeared there.

Did it work after changing to the US Region?
