After using redsnow to go from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1 on iPhone 2G I now have the 'No SIM' error.
I have tried three sims (two which work in my iPhone 3GS)
It's as though the phone ignores other SIM cards.
On the about screen there is no ICCID number: it is blank.
I would appreciate any help

if ICCID numbers are missing then there is chance than base band is corrupt.

Do a clean DFU restore.

Run readsn0w with SIM inside (which you would be using)
