My issue
Hi guys like to share and to get some tips here for my iphone. I got 3g phone unlocked. Before OS 3.0 updated i used quickpwn to jailbreak. it was good everything was fine. after the itunes and OS3.0 upgrade i used redsn0w but the cydia and icy didn't install proberly (i guess) i cant upgrade or install any app. with cydia or installer. I got one more problem i cant view thumbnail in photoalbum it looks black
My iphone is original 3g (no unlock required) OS 3.0 7A341 version

Restor and just install Cydia - there are conflicts if you instal Icy as well and Installer is no longer supported.

Hi Thanks for the tips it did works but now the problem with the photo album it didnt save the pics i took in camera in the album and the thumbnails in the album looks black. what can i do?

Did you restore from a backup? You really shouldn't with a major version FW change.

Yes i did restore with itunes before i jailbreak. If i restore as new i phone then do the backup before jailbreak will help my issue? Originally Posted by Confucious

Restoring a backup from a previous FW version always causes problems. Just set up as a new phone and synch everything back from iTunes (make sure you copy your pics off first).
