[Problem] iPhone doesn't works
Ok, so i was looking for a software compibility patch for my iphone 1.1.4 and i found this thing in cydia called firmware that allowed me to change to any firmware i had wanted to. OK, so i went on the app after installing it and selected the firmware 2.0. It said successful and i pressed ok. So, after that i went back to the home screen and turned off my iphone. When i turned my iphone back on there was the apple logo and then after the logo came up a black screen with all these white words filling the screen and my home button wouldnt function at all, nothing would! Then i presses the button on the top and the home button together and it finally shut off, but whenever i turn on my iphone 1.1.4 the same thing happens and when i connect it to itunes, itunes doesnt recognize it so when i restart it again and the apple logo is displayed i plug my iphone in and itunes makes it go into recovery mode and when i shut it off and dissconnect the same black screen with words appear!!!
Please help me its urgent

Looks like you're down to a restore. And if this is the case, all info inside will be lost.
To restore:
Plug to phone to the computer, press home and power at the same time until you see a restore logo (itunes icon + cable) on the screen, open itunes and follow the instructions.
BTW: 1.1.4? Thats "neandertalis firmware" C'mom now... at least 2.x

Are you for real? You shut down your iphone while it was doing some low level hacking? Did you even read one single tutorial on the web before trying? If you did you should have known to leave it alone until it's done with hacking before you do anything. I'm am pretty sure your iPhone is destroyed if you did it while it was flashing the bootloader or baseband.

My guess is that it's the infamous "BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0 " error. Forum seach might give you some insight.
Put the iPhone in DFU , try restoring 1.1.4 if it's back to life try restoring 3.0.
