WiFi and Bluetooth Greyed out (Not working/available)

Hi there guys,

I have just updated to firmware v3.01 and jailbroken + unlocked it, now like a lot of other people i am also facing the same issue of WIFI and Bluetooth Greyed out.

Now wifi is very important for me, if it doesnt work then there is no use of the iphone to me.

can i ask you guys from your experience will wifi and bluetooth start working again if i goes back to firmware v2.2.1?

i tried wifitrack as some guys suggested and also i tried restoring the iphone, but none of this works..

It kind of driving me mad, and as i brought this iphone 2nd hand so i guess i cant even go to apple for an exchange, can i?

By the way its an Iphone 3G 8GB with modem firmware 04.26.08

I did tried a network reset too.. but no use....:mad::mad:

This issue is so spread that it most be a 3.0 bug.
Let's hope that Apple fixes that with the 3.1 release in August.

Did any one tried if it get fixed after downgrading to v2.2.1, i am kind of afraid to downgrade now.. now need some confirmation first, thanks

According to other blogs and forums some people already tried that and didn't work. But that doesn't mean it won't work for you.

Hi There,

Can you point me to the proper method on downgrading the firmware to v2.2.1 as currently my itunes giving me a 160XX error even in DFU mode, so i am stuck with v3.3.1
