a VERY bricked iphone 2g, possible solutions?
here is the iphone 2g history.
1.-i upgraded to 3.0 and unlocked it those days when redsnow was just borning.
2.-one day out of nowhere, my mac stop detecting my iphone.
3.- i couldnt get music, blah blah... so i tried to restore, but the mac couldnt detect the iphone on recovery mode, normal mode or dfu mode. i tried pc, different cables, different iphone positions, but it wasn´t detected.
4.-a guy at some forum (i think it was this, i dont have good long term memory) told me that he solved it in the days of 2.2.1, by overwriting the file "lockdown" via ssh with a new one. well, i overwrite the file with the wrong one (i think i overwrite it with a lockdown file from a 2.2.1 iphone). i reboot my iphone, and, it didnt turn on anymore.
5.-the pineapple image showed everytime i turned on the iphone, but it couldnt get to the springboard, neither to have access to it via ssh, neither usb, recovery or dfu.
6.- i searched every forum for help, i got frustrated so i just forgot my old iphone and bought a new one.
7.-i remembered yesterday that i have a brick that could be repaired and make some money selling it.
what else can i try? do you think a guy at some cellphone repair shop can help me?
