Turn off A2DP
Hey there. First post.
Is there anyway to turn off A2DP on my iPhone 3G? In my car i connect my iPhone through the dock connecter to the radio and it connects to my radio for hands free via bluetooth. I would rather the music play through the Dock Connector as its much better quality. Every time i connect my phone i need to go into the iPod App and switch the output to Dock Connecter. Is there anyway to fix this?
Thanks.

Why don't you unpair your phone and your stereo?

OK, that makes sense :)
I guess, however, you have no easy way to automatically use cable for music and bluetooth for hands free. It will use BT for all available outputs unless you manually chose cable for music. But I agree it would be handy if phone remembered this setting.
My $.02: Go to Apple forums and suggest this. They are more likely to get a fix than us.
