I got the 3gs, nice iphone :)
But my friend has a 2g, he has deleted everything. Now it does not boot. I've got it in DFU mode and made an ipsw file. First 3.1.3, now 3.1.2. It says in both versions there is no sim card installed.
What am I doing wrong, I've used PwnageTool 3.1.5 :fail

Have you physically checked the SIM card is installed properly. Sometimes this can be fixed by blowing compressed air into the SIM card slot. Other times it can be that the pins on the SIM connector inside the iPhone have become bent/damaged.
Also check that he is not using any kind of SIM adapter - these types of unlocks no longer work on iPhone OS 3.x
My sim card from 3 does not work.
But a sim card from Telenor does ???
I dont understand why, i live in denmark and the iphone
is from UK.
