MMS on 2G (os3.0) with default SMS/MMS app

The trick was I had to change MMSC to http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms

AND Bingo It works now!

i installed this mod and it works perfectly. i had to restart twice in order for the camera button to show up in the sms screen though. the one thing i noticed though is an extended boot up time. it takes probably 15-25 seconds longer to boot in. i compared it with my brothers. anyone else experiencing this?

UPDATE: just installed the mms package on my brothers phone and his phone still boots up faster than mine. im stumped, any ideas from anyone?

I'm on 3.0 OS on a 2G iphone, installed the package after uninstalling SwirlyMMS2 and it works for sending and recieving but the only bug I have is that when sending, the iphone restarts in safe mode after sent, anyone having the same problem?

NOTE ADDED 1: now seems to be working perfectly after restarting. Will inform if this bug appears again.

NOTE ADDED 2: For me the "Settings->General->Network->Cellular Data" menu option won't appear, its seems it is because my provider (Movistar Argentina) has those settings already in my SIM so the phone doesn't request them, and it seems to be correct cause works perfectly.

On my iphone Cellular Data doesn't appear cause as I said, my provider (Movistar Argentina) has all this settings already on my SIM so it won't let me change them. I mispelled the menu option I was referring too, will correct the post.

I am on the $5.99 T-Zones plan and I have internet and MMS working using the epc.tmobile.com APN for both. The picture quality is crappy when received on the iphone but sends out perfect.

7. After deleting the other profiles, go back to help.BenM.at and repeat steps 3-5. The first time you try to install it, it may fail or hang while installing (it did for me anyway) if this happens, press the home button, reopen Safari, then try again, it should work.
8. Once your iPhone has rebooted, go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network. Your MMS APN should be present in every APN field.
9. Fill in your MMSC and MMS Proxy. Once again, my network has no username or password, so I am not sure if you should add this here or during step 4... Experiment!!
10. Reboot your iPhone.
11. Open Messages and try to send an MMS. If it fails, check your settings are correct.
12. If it is successful, go back to Cellular Data Network and change your Cellular Data APN to the one appropriate for your network.
13. Test your data connection.
14. Test your MMS.

This fixed it for me. It seems that the MMS APN can only be the APN included in the Mobileconfig, whereas the data APN can be anything. Let me know how it goes.

Did you install a custom carrier bundle or do anything other than change the MMSC? I use internet2.voicesteam.com for my Cellular Data APN and cant get the MMS APN to sick with your settings. Any help would be appreciated.
