You know you also have to change your carrier setting and add mms settings?without those settings you will not be able to see nor be able to send mms.

I finally got mine working to send and receive.
Now we just need to figure out the image quality issue. I sent myself a MMS with a picture I took with my iPhone.
I can look at the image I sent - and it looks good. I can look at the received image just below it and it is way blurry. (It should be the same image).
SwirlyMMS didn't have this problem.
It would seem like the User Agent URL is being ignored or not used in some way...
i would presume i have to enter mms settings, but i cant, because under settings/general/network i only have data roaming, vpn and wi-fi...no cellular data settings...
ok, i just tried resetting netw. settings, but its still the same...how do i install new carrier settings?
thank you!
You have to edit the carrier.plist file. Read this topic how to do it.
To install ipcc profiles with iTunes you have to change iTunes settings. For PC and Mac.
You might also want to try going to help.BenM.at - Mobileconfigs für dein iPhone | BenM.at with you iphone and installing the mobileconfig file for your provider.

thank you very much...gonna do that as soon as i get home
hey guys so I installed activatemms2g thru cydia but in my settings>general>network i have no cellular data option it just says data roaming/vpn/wi-fi can anyone help? i also downloaded the at&t apn from help.BenM.at and rebooted several times MMS still not active
I've also installed activatemms2g - and i also don't have the cellular data option.
But MMS works anyway - i think the mms settings are stored within the simcard or somewhat.
Have you tried to look into the messages app? Maybe the camera icon is already there and your MMS settings are already set.
I'm on T-Mobile Germany.
Has anyone noticed that the batterylife has dropped after installing ActivateMMS? After using MMS for about 12 hours I have almost 50% of my battery. Before I installed MMS I had about 2 days standby and 5 hours usage. Now it seems I get only half of that.
