I was downloading an app from cydia and it rebooted and now its stuck in the screen with the apple logo, and its not detected in ituenes the problem is that due to the broken power button i cant put it in DFU mode. is there any one who can help please...
You can let it go flat then plug it in whilst holding the home button. That will put it into recovery mode.Quote:

but you mean go flat with let the battery die? cause i did a few times now, but if i plug it in my pc it first has to recharge the battery a little bit to boot, and putting it to DFU mode wont work i guess

I believe i have the same issue but holding the home button doesnt work for me. This could be due to the fact that the home button stopped working before i reset the iphone (hence why i tried to reset it instead of putting it into DFU).
Any ideas for a solution?
(I posted about this in an older thread but thought i'd mention it again as i'm worried that i've completely broken my iphone, sorry if im being annoying or anything)
