Post your iPhone restore log on pastebin.com and then put a link to it on this forum (and also in IRC) someone might be able to help you based on the restore log.Quote:

You can try custom ipsw but I don't think it will fix it. I am 90% sure thisis a hardware errorQuote:

so you think that it could be a battery problem?
I tend to agree with Oletheros here -- it is possible that it's a battery / charger problem, but it's ultimately more likely that it is a problem related to the logic board on the device itself. The -1002 error is not one that is user serviceable in all documented cases that I can find.
It's likely either an issue with the comms board or an issue with the logic board.
