[iphone 2G-3.0][SMS Problem] Can not view SMSs, only preview is visible ?

I have an iPhone 2G. I was running it on 1.1.2, then upgraded it to a custom IPSW of 2.2.1 and now on to 3.0 using redsnow.

I am facing some peculiar problems :

1. When I get an SMS, it shows the preview on the main page. But when I go to the "Messages" tab on the sprig board, it is no more there. This happens 90 % of the time, however, in some cases, the SMS is present in the "messages" tab. Can not really figure out the problem here. Kindly help.

2. I had taken a back before restoring to 3.0, I had some 15 notes. They all are now synced back, but I am not able to view them. I can see the headings, but as soon as I open them, the phone comes back to spring board.
A peculiar thing is that, one of the notes is opening.

I am having the same problem too.

I have backup all my old sms before installing 3.0. After the installation, I restore those sms back and thought everything is fine until I start to lose new sms.

The preview of all the sms are shown on the main screen. As soon as I click open them, they either disappear from the inbox or only stay for a couple of minutes. As soon as you click the screen saver off and on, those new sms are gone.

Please help and I greatly appreciate that. I am missing a lot of business sms.

Restore the iPhone to 3.0 then do not use the backup, setup as a new iPhone. There's tons of differences 1.1.2-3.0, backup will cause problems in most cases.
I know you#ll be loosing notes, sms and call history...
