Cant Jailbreak iPhone? [VIDEO OF PROBELM]

since upgrading my iPhone 3G before using a tutorial on this website I hadnt been able to get 3G on my iPhone so i decided to update it using itunes and the jailbreaking it, I TRIED holding shift and doing the restore but it wouldnt work so i upgraded it which subsequently locked my phone and ive been trying to unlock it for around 2 and a half months now with no luck.

im running on Windows 7.

anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

Hey, don't bump something that has only been posted a few hours ago.

Your video is next to useless due to low quality. It is impossible to make out the dialogs that come up after the jailbreak.

Explain what you have tried in detail and we might be able to help.

i posted it late at night, in the UK anyway so i bumped it so it was seen.

the video is not useless because its obvious what it says because its the same pop ups that are show in tutorials it doesnt say anything about not working.

Have you tried shutting down iTunes (and killing iTuneshelper.exe) before running blackra1n?

Did you try running blackra1n in XP compatibility mode?

two notes on this one:
1. Dont mess with Olethros, he is trying to help you.
2. Watching the video I could not even figure out if you are having a 3G. Looked like a 2G to me (silver, aluminum back)

General rule: be nice to the mods here and provide some more information as Olethros stated

1. I wasnt? if it came acorss that way then it was unitentional.

2. theres a picture of my phone above the video and it says in the paragraph above that that its an iphone 3G.

Yes i tried closing all programs related to itunes and apple but to no avail but i havent tried with the XP compatibility so info on that would be great and I could try it out.

just tried it now running it how it said there and still no luck.

Did you ever DFU restore the iPhone to Apple stock 3.1.2 firmware? Maybe after all the work on the iPhone it is just screwed a bit.
I would - if you didn't already - DFU restore and then try blackra1n

are there tutorials on this? i dont want to mess up my phone more than i have already!
