What exactly is "locked" into Developer mode? I'm not so concerned about a locked phone or one which can't be jbroken, but I obviously would be concerned if it means that the phone is somehow hamstrung from future functionality or can't be used normally.

**BE CAREFUL, this time YOU CAN'T REVERT TO 2. Once you upgrade, you're stuck in 3.0 because your iPhone is converted into a testing device and will refuse downgrading.

i know i have the pdf and i have the software. there is quotes saying "locked" so i feel that has to mean there is SOME possible way to go back, its probably just not official or supported.Quote:
