Anyone experienced this? Any remedies? I'm using iPhone 3G Beta 2. Thanks! :)
I had this problem after running apps which were buggy/crashed. Doing a reset (home+power) sorted it out for me, and I also removed the apps in question.
What are those apps that you removed? I also might have it in my phone. Is this also coupled with push services from MS Exchange?
One app that I think is not leaving memory properly on 3.0 is beejive..
In 2.x, something was killing my battery life to the point that I had to disable push... but I haven't had to do that in 3.0.. my battery life has been quite good.
Of course, now that I've discovered stereo bluetooth.. that might change..
Whenever I feel my phone getting slightly warm to the touch on the back, I reboot the device and it cools down..
I'm not really running many apps in 3.0 aside from apple's applications since many other apps don't work properly.
Does having a completely stock 3.0 beta 2 help in solving this consistent battery drains issue with no appstore apps installed whatsoever? I have tried to uninstall all of my appstore apps in my phone, rebooted so many times (hard reboot & slide to off) and it still drains... :( My phone always stays hot..Sometimes, it won't charge too (connected to PC and to charger)..I had to turn it off just to charge it.
I restored my phone to stock 3.0 beta 2 with no apps installed, erased my iphone too after restoring to stock just to be sure and voila! It doesn't drain anymore. I'm sure it's just an app that quit prematurely and runs continuously in the background even after rebooting it.
