1) i cant make phone calls. Someone said to reset the network settings. How do i do that? i see nothing under wi-fi in settings
2) im getting the _login missing symbol error as well!!
I downloaded core system and mobile substrate and rebooted. no change.
I launch icy, go to sources, refresh them, install the 4.7 version of openssh... only it one it lists. I click on upgrade tab, and its blank.
How do i force Icy to install the newer open ssh package?? 5.2p1-7??
thanks!
If you don't see openssh 5.2p1-7 like i do initially, just delete the apt.saurik.com source, re-add it and then refresh the sources. It should show up.

Had the exact same problem. Came up with the exact same solution. ktula is absolutely correct!

yeh, till the next refresh, this is bullshit. ripdev better do some proper version checking soon. the "recent packages" also is only filled after some syncs, and then after restarting icy they are gone again.

You must update OpenSSL from saurik's repo. Here is my solution:
1) remove saurik repo from icy
2) quit icy
3) run icy and refresh repos then add again saurik's repo and will come out openssl update. (openssl_0.9.8k-7)

Frankly, I've always been more a fan of saurik and Cydia than I have been with ripdev and Installer.... It's no surprise to me that their new venture is somewhat buggy, considering there were 4 versions of Installer and it was still barely functional. I'd love it if Icy worked, but I think there's a better chance of Cydia being ported to 3.0 than there is of Icy becoming a real package manager. I'll give it that it's fast, but considering it doesn't necessarily work ..... That's not really anything to be proud of. It's like a Lamborghini that can only go fast right before it plows into a wall. Not much fun.
