Hope this is the right forum. Have version 1 iphone unlocked with Redsnow about 4 months ago. Woke up this morning and battery was drained. After plugging in, and seeing lightning bolt and battery charging, did a soft reset. Now it's showing USB to itunes on screen, and, in itunes it's saying, "iphone must be restored to original setting before using with itunes." My basic question, is do I need to re-unlock the phone with redsnow, etc. now. Should I just leave it for awhile untill it's charged some more. Any help is appreciated.

That sounds very strange - I would first let it charge fully and then try using TinyUmbrella to exit recovery mode. If that does not work, then yes you might need to restore the OS and re-jailbreak with redsn0w (you shouldn't need to tick the "unlock" box on redsn0w again)
