Is it true there is no tethering for iPhone 2G on 3.0 Beta?

aparantly the bluetooth sterio wont either... they claim the 2g cant handle the mms when it very well can... swirlymms?? works just fine on 2g phone... apple are adding features the iphone should of had since they released the 4GB iphones...

Ok thanks I edited the carrier plist file but I still can get the tethering options to show :S

Hopefully with some 'editing', those of us on the 2G can have the MMS function working

hopefully but i think apple is adding to little to late.. these features should of been here from the very first iphone and firmware and they are still leaving a lot crippled... mms which cell phones have had for years now. and you have to jailbreak to get anything good. i thin k its time to trade the iphone some for something better that isent crippled and so much fuss just to get a simple function working.
